The Black Knight rising!
So, everyone hated this movie.... well I didn't! I actually liked it for what it was... yes I know it's not exactly true to the Eternals comics and certain characters were changed, for inclusion and diversity... but in my opinion the changes were good and kind of made sense.
I thought the whole film was beautifully shot and the cinematography was just amazing. The opening explanation of the Eternals was interesting. The costumes may not be what we see in the comics, but I understand the reasoning of why they were toned down, so that the ordinary everyday movie person or let's call them the 'normies' doesn't see it as, well over the top and stupid.

Superb choice using the ‘Dark Side Of The Moon’ sound track!
Thought the opening showing the Eternals coming to earth 5000BC was great, I would have loved some kind of reference to ancient astronauts and maybe show the ship 'icons' from the time of the Incas... maybe no one thought of it, but would have been a great point of reference.
Love how Dane is depicted and acts considering who he'll become and I think his comedic lines were perfect!
It's interesting to hear the reasoning behind no interference from the Eternals when Thanos came to earth and the name drop of Dr Strange and Captain America. It's awesome to hear name drops and this is how a connected universe works. All it needs is the occasional name drop in a movie to connect to the wider stories and films.

Ikaris' entrance is VERY 'Man of Steel' and WOW, Superman even gets a mention at one point. I personal think Ikaris is a superb character and wonderfully portrayed by Richard Madden. In many ways he certainly is The Superman of the MCU and it's cleverly mentioned in the movie of how 'Sprite' made up the story of Ikaris.. the ‘boy who flew too close to the Sun’!
I like how the passing of time is shown through flashbacks but I think the best part of the movie is the family aspect, of how they all love and respect each other, until it all falls apart! The bickering between them is funny to hear, especially around the meal table, just like a large family.

One of The best characters for me was Phastos. His comedy timing was brilliant and perfectly suited. The scene around the table at the family house was hilarious and wonderfully played by Brian Tyree Henry... perfectly straight faced. Not to mention the Atom Bomb scene.... once again interestingly intertwined! I really would love to see more of this character in the MCU along with Ikaris.
To be perfectly honest I would love to see all of the Eternals return at some point. It's entirely possible considering the explanation of who the Eternals actually are! To be honest after watching this film I would much rather have the Eternals represent the edition of 'Space beings' in the MCU rather than the Guardians of the Galaxy. That'll cause some controversy to whoever reads this.
Really liked some of the questions being asked, like could The Eternals not have helped more with the evolution of the human race... it’s like the BIG question of why GOD doesn’t interfere with all the atrocities we've endured over the centuries. I personally think the script for this movie was pretty clever how certain things were intertwined within their story.
LOVE the inclusion of the Bollywood scenes… who doesn’t love a bit of Bollywood!

Some of the sequences are beautiful scripted where The Eternals powers are depicted, especially where Thena is concerned and superbly played by Angelina Jolie. The scenery and landscapes really are something special!
I've already read that a fair few people are complaining at the editing of the movie, jumping from one place to another needing to show how they get from one place to another! Are people really that stupid! I'm convinced it's just an excuse to have a go at the director of the film, especially because it's a woman. Well I'm sorry... but in my opinion Chloé Zhao has done a wonderful job and produced an awesome film with a great story that works in a family vibe with awesome action and brilliant fight scenes.

In my opinion the problem with today's so called film reviewers, especially towards the MCU and DC is that everybody is a 'super critic' and certain groups of people want to bring a particular thing down, like because the Director is a woman! Once one does it, anyone and everyone jumps on the bandwagon to destroy something and it becomes not about how someone criticises a film but click bait for getting views. More people are prone to click on a hateful review rather than a positive one and so the hate grows.

Well, as I said at the start I don't agree with any of it... I loved the entire film.
Yes, there are some things I didn't like... one being the Harry Styles/Starfox appearance... but that's the same for any and every film. No film is perfect!
But, hey… this is just my own personal opinion!
