A few alterations to the pattern, marked and cut the pieces and backed a few parts like the ears with a fabric stiffener.

Studying a 'Returns' cowl I hit on the idea of trying to recreate the same using fabric.

After a few tryouts in the field, decided that the zip on the cape and cowl was not exactly what I had pictured.

I decided that I need something to bulk my frame up and show a bit of muscle!

Update time ... The cowl is now completely attached to the cape and it's now an "All-in-one" ensemble!

The rubber cowl I've used for the costume was a temporey measure, now the fun begins, to create the "ultimate" cowl!
