Seriously.... this is how James Gunn wants to introduce DC's Supergirl to the mass media?

To show Supergirl as a drunk party girl!

It didn't think the current DC Studios could get any worse after the awful Superman film from last year but this just looks even worse.

Did James Gunn listen to all the 'Flack' Superman was given and thought to himself I'm gonna stick the middle finger up to everyone that complained and actually 'Piss on your parade' by having the obnoxious 'Krypto' literally piss over a picture of Superman?

When I first saw 'Krypto' as a character I actually liked him and though he wasn't that bad, but he's been WELL overused in everything and he's become an annoying trait of these films. But it looks like we've now got to put up with the character yet again all through this film as he seems to be an important part to the story line.... 'Oh Joy!'

Plus... do we actually have to see a dog urinating on screen, I mean was it integral to the story? My view is no it wasn't.... but of course James Gunn obviously thought it was hilarious! Another 'Low Point' for the DCU!

I get that this is based off of the Tom King's the 'Woman of Tomorrow' graphic novel... showing Kara Zor-El's quest in space, along with Krypto. But why do we have to have a drunk party girl? Oh yeh, I keep forgetting.. it's James Gunn!

Even though it's reported to be directed by Craig Gillespie, this trailer has all the traits of James Gunns directions all over it so we'll have to wait and see.

The reveal of Lobo is also nothing special... to me it looks like a wasted opportunity for Jason Momoa and Milly Alcock as Supergirl... looks terrible. Let's hope she can prove me wrong and take this film to the top. Although if Superman failed to catch the eye of the normies or the real comic fans out there, I sure as hell can't see this doing any better!

But, hey… this is just my own personal opinion!
