Warner Bros. Discovery finally and I mean finally release the trailer to the upcoming Aquaman Movie, The Lost Kingdom! Once we've seen this film everything is 'done and dusted' with the old DCEU and the new era of James Gunn's DCU begins. Which to me kind'a makes me think... "what's the point in watching this movie" and to be honest like the last two films, 'The Flash' and 'Blue Beetle' the majority will probably think the same.... which is such a shame, as for me... I think this films looks as good as the first.

Even though the first film made over a 'Billion' dollars, which obviously made it the most profitable of all the DC films, I can't say it was one of my favourite films, it was OK but just not the best for me and I really don't get why it was the top performer. Mind you I'm pleased at least one of the DC films made the magical 'billion' dollar price tag, I would just have preferred it to be one of the others.

However, I must say out of the final three films for the DCEU I will probably go see this at the cinema like I did for 'The Flash', as it looks like it should definitely be seen on the 'big' screen!

I've read a fair few reviews for this trailer and as usual it seems to be getting 'slated' by a fair few people, why? I have no idea! I thought the trailer was just as good as the previous trailers for the original Aquaman film. A lot of reviewers seem to be fixated on the lighthearted moments like the baby at the beginning which looks to me like it mirrors the original trailer showing Arthur as a baby, which as far as I remember no one complained about.

The costume drying on the washing line is getting the most hate. For 'GODS Sake' does no one have a sense of humour anymore... does no one get the irony of the washing line joke! ie, he spends half his time underwater so why is he hanging out his costume to dry! DURRRR! Surely 99% of people must have at least cracked a smile! Not to mention we all wash our swimming suits after use, well, I do and hope everyone else does. I also seem to remember there's a 'pee' joke in the first film, which again I don't remember any back lash for!

There are loads of humours lines I can remember from the first film: "Permission to come abroad", "That was the worst pep talk ever", "You do your best thinking when you're not thinking at all", "I call it an ass wooping", "Red heads, you gotta love em". That's just a few I can remember and kind of made the film so enjoyable to watch... so what the hell is wrong with the few we have in this trailer?

I'm a Snyderverse fan through and through... massive fan of Zack Snyders Justice League and NO I'm NOT looking forward to what James Gunn has installed for the DC Universe. I much prefer my DC films and characters to have the more mature, dark and gritty look and feel that Zack Snyder came up with. I also don't mind the odd bit of humour to break up the darkness.

Some DC fans need to remove the broom stick from their backsides and loosen up a little and to be honest I think this is one of the main reasons why we are where we are today with the state of the films from the DC Universe!

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta looks awesome and menacing, Jason Mamoa looks like he's once again having fun as Aquaman and Atlantis looks just as magnificent, the only complaint I have with the trailer are some of the CGI shots of Aquaman lunging forward where the background looks pretty cheap and really false... maybe those will be fixed for the big screen release and the awful jump to knock down the statue to make the bridge, again hopefully this will all be fixed before release. 

As I said above, I think this trailer looks just as good as the first film and James Wan looks like he's created another visually stunning film... whether as many people go to see this film like the previous... only time will tell!

But, hey… this is just my own personal opinion!
