Secret Invasion
I knew things where getting bad for Marvel... but THIS!
I've just come to the end of the most ridiculously boring and god forsaken trashy Marvel TV series that I have ever had the misfortune to watch.
What on earth was Marvel thinking when they filmed this pile of stinking 'crap'?
I'm really sorry to put this so bluntly but I just can't get my head around how a company like Marvel can go from the awesomeness of the likes of Iron Man, Captain America, Thor etc to this rubbish... I can't even think how this even slightly relates to the original that this was supposedly based on.
The person I feel the most sorry for is the amazing Samual L. Jackson who has had to act and put his name to this sorry sack of S*@T! It's such a shame and a missed opportunity as I've loved his interpretation of Nick Fury right from the start when he first appears in the first Iron Man teaser. I've always wanted to see him in his own film all about his Nick Fury character!
I know that things were getting bad for Marvel with the major 'Miss Fires' they've had lately, but this just doesn't make any sense to me what-so-ever.
How could anyone at Marvel, let alone Disney watch this back and think yes! This is exactly what we were looking for, it's great, let it go to air... I would have thought that anyone with a background in the world of Marvel would have taken one look at this and said... NO! No way are you putting this out to the fans let alone the general public.
It kind of reminds me of Henry Cavils 'Moustache Gate'... you know, when DC seemed to think that the CGI on his moustache for 'Jostice' League was good enough.
Seriously I have so much I wanna write about this 'abomination' but at the same time I really just can't be bothered as it was just sooooooooo bad. I would call it a train crash in every, yes every way possible.
I think the last fight scene sums everything up for me, were the so-called Super skrulls' .... no I can't even bring myself to call them that... and I use the term 'Super Skrulls' very lightly, face off with each other. The CGI is just awful, probably the worst I have ever seen in any Marvel TV series or Movie and to be honest it's just laughable in every way possible, not just the CGI, but the acting as well.
What's happened to you Marvel, you used to be the barometer that everyone judged themselves by... unfortunately not anymore and if Marvel release anything else as bad as this, then I would definitely say Marvel is finished. Marvel has a lot to do to regain any respect they had and a long way to climb to get back to the thrones they once sat upon.
Everything was awful about this series, the script, the ideas, the acting and the directing, just one whole pile of utter TRASH!
But, hey… this is just my own personal opinion!
